  1.  16:1  Michtam of David. Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I
  2. put my trust.
  3.  16:2  [O my soul], thou hast said unto the LORD, Thou [art] my
  4. Lord: my goodness [extendeth] not to thee;
  5.  16:3  [But] to the saints that [are] in the earth, and [to]
  6. the excellent, in whom [is] all my delight.
  7.  16:4  Their sorrows shall be multiplied [that] hasten [after]
  8. another [god]: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer,
  9. nor take up their names into my lips.
  10.  16:5  The LORD [is] the portion of mine inheritance and of my
  11. cup: thou maintainest my lot.
  12.  16:6  The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant [places]; yea,
  13. I have a goodly heritage.
  14.  16:7  I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my
  15. reins also instruct me in the night seasons.
  16.  16:8  I have set the LORD always before me: because [he is] at
  17. my right hand, I shall not be moved.
  18.  16:9  Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my
  19. flesh also shall rest in hope.
  20.  16:10  For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt
  21. thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
  22.  16:11  Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence
  23. [is] fulness of joy; at thy right hand [there are] pleasures
  24. for evermore.
